(born in 1950, Seoul, Korea)
Born in 1950 In Korea, Yoon-Hee lives and works in France. Yoon-Hee is a part of the arts scene since the eighties; her work is present in public collections in France and in South Korea as the Château d’Oiron or the Busan Metropolitan Art Museum. Her works were exhibited in 2015-2016 at the Cernuschi Museum during the exhibition “Séoul – Paris – Séoul”, for the year of Korea in France. Created with simple gestures and pulled of the industrial world, Yoon-Hee’s sculptures are metal masses that establish a relation between man and nature.
In parallel, she develops a drawing work based on concentration and efficiency. She works on sheets on paper of the same size than her body, 160 x 120 cm, to leave ink and gouache on it in a centrifugal movement requesting all her concentration.
