Biography

Patrick Hourcade

Former student of André Chastel, Patrick Hourcade was artistic director of Vogue Paris magazine, working with Guy Bourdin and Helmut Newton.

After that he decided to devote himself entirely to photography and, in 2011, he exhibited at the Saint Louis de la Salpêtrière chapel (La Puissance d'Aimer) and in 2015 at the refectory of the Cordeliers (Nuit, le Pouvoir de l'Obscur) .

As an artist, he pursues a personal aesthetic with video installations (Hic Tamen Vivit, 2016), challenging scenographies (Festivities and entertainments at the Court, Versailles, 2016) and other works (Ad Vitam Aeternam, Editions De Maule ).
