Biography

After studying at the Villa Arson in Nice in 2011, Clarence Guéna has continued to revisit the medium of painting through a variety of processes. Over the years, he has developed a unique practice involving canvas that he covers with resin and engraves with a laser. At the crossroads of different fields, Clarence Guéna gives his process an almost archaeological gesture, where destruction always plays the role of revealing the pattern.
