Exhibition

In the fall of 2022, the Françoise Livinec Gallery opens its new Parisian space located at 30 rue de Penthièvre, a few meters from the gallery founded in 2015 in the same street (n° 24). Françoise Livinec pays homage to Marie Vassilieff (1884-1957) by dedicating its inaugural exhibition to her, from November 17 2022 to Febrary 18, 2023.
The current rehabilitation of women artists in the history of art allows us to discover the decisive place that Marie Vassilieff occupied in the period of the avant-gardes. Her singular work is placed in the great artistic movements of modernity and offers a look at the School of Paris and the artistic community of Montparnasse.
