To coincide with the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Galerie Françoise Livinec presents the second solo show by Swiss artist Elga Heinzen, born in 1933.


Closer to Parisian cosmopolitanism than to Swiss Calvinism, the artist unveils some twenty “Flags” created between 1982 and 1985, whose folds question the boundaries of the visible and the elsewhere. This series is a consequence of Elga Heinzen's aesthetic shock at the inanimate, half-mast pavilions of the UNESCO palace.
